Government Relation Officer
About the job
1.Act as the primary liaison between the company and various Qatar government ministries and authorities (e.g., Ministry of Interior, Ministry of Labor, Public Authority for Manpower, Immigration, Municipality, Chamber of Commerce, etc.).
2.Handle the processing of work permits, residency visa, renewals, cancellations, and other official documentation for employees (local and expatriate).
3.Ensure the company adheres to Qatar labor laws and government policies, and proactively communicate any changes to management.
4.Manage the application and renewal process for business licenses, commercial registration (CR), civil IDs, and other regulatory requirements.
5.Draft official letters and documents required for government submissions in Arabic and English.
6.Maintain and update a tracking system for all government-related documents and ensure timely renewals.
7.Accompany employees to medical tests, fingerprinting, or other formalities as required.
8.Represent the company in legal or labor-related matters as needed.
9.Maintain good working relationships with PROs, government representatives, and other stakeholders.
