  • Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Junior store keeper is responsible for receiving incoming material, stacking, storing and issuing of materials along with carrying out necessary documentation at the construction site.
  • General Responsibilities:
  • Record the store material receipt and consumption on a daily basis
  • To check material received quantities & specifications against order documents.
  • To manage space and determine storages methods according to the manufactures guidelines and company safety procedures.
  • Issue materials as per the indent for different works.
  • To maintain the filing system and stock records as per company procedures.
  • Prepare fortnightly/ monthly consumption reports jointly wit the Store Keeper.
  • Inform the concerned engineer of the status of balance material in order to raise further indent
  • Maintain records of departmental tools, machinery etc. on site
  • To recommend disposal of excess defective or obsolete stock.
  • To control the fixed  assets in the location assigned.
