1. Teaching Assistant / Education Support Specialist
We seek a Teaching Assistant or Educational Support Specialist to support writing-intensive courses such as first-year writing courses. The candidate will work closely with the Area Head for Arts faculty, English faculty, and other faculty, teaching writing-intensive courses to assist with classroom management, support students' writing development outside of class, help develop curriculum for first-year writing courses, support programs and workshops on special topics, assist with writing assessment, and assist with special projects such as research related to writing.
Qualifications:
- MA in English, TESOL, Applied Linguistics, Writing Studies, or related field
- At least 3 years of experience
- Candidates will be considered for a Teaching Assistant or Educational Support Specialist position upon qualifications and experience.
- Position is for 1 year renewable up to 3 years.
2. Teaching Assistant for Computer Science

- Carnegie Mellon University in Qatar invites applications for one or more teaching assistant positions. These positions are designed for candidates who are interested in enhancing their teaching portfolio, along with their research portfolio, to be better prepared for future academic positions. The positions expect candidates to start working in August 2025.
- Responsibilities include supporting three to four undergraduate courses per year, holding recitations/office hours, working closely with students, and supporting our general educational mission.
