1. Material Engineer
Job Description:
- Ensures a tidy workplace in the central laboratory.
- Ensure all tests comply with ASTM, AASHTO, BS, and other relevant standards.
- Review final test reports as directed by the Head of the material testing division.
- Very good experience in Soil, Aggregate, and Asphalt testing.
- Calibrate and maintain testing equipment to ensure precision in results.
- Provide timely, accurate service in response to the Head of the material testing division's requests.
- Control testing activities during construction projects; spot-check data for errors;
- Meet with inspectors, engineers, contractors, and/or developers to determine corrective action required when there are discrepancies between work done and the approved plans, specifications, and standards;
- Assist in the development of the Quality Management System of the company
2. Temporary Geologist
Job Description:
- Supervise the ground investigation works for different on-shore and near-shore projects.
- Coordinate with client's representatives during the execution of the project.
- Perform site visits and investigations, and create inspection reports.
- Monitoring of fieldwork.
- Preparation of Daily Progress Report of the project.
- The ideal candidate should have at least 3+ years of experience as a geologist with a bachelor's or master’s degree.
- The candidates must be available in Qatar with the QID and NOC to transfer their sponsorship.
3. Sr. QHSE Officer
Job Description:
- Performs planned and spot audits
- Maintains Records in the quality, health, safety, and environment division.
- Acts as custodian of the documents and records of the quality, health, safety, and environment division
- Assists in the training and implementation of the system procedures. ·
- Day-to-day monitoring of the Quality Management system.
- Maintains Quality Awareness among personnel and ensures that the procedures and instructions are followed.
- Trains new personnel on the Quality Management System and related standards.
- Conducts statistical analyses related to quality, health, safety, and environmental indicators.
- Updates the list of quality forms and assists in the follow-up and implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
- Distributes and communicates the system documents to the concerned departments.
- Receives customer claims and reports them to the QHSE Manager.
- Performs regular backups when necessary.
- Updates the approved suppliers list based on the supplier evaluation cards.
- Follows up on purchases related to the quality, health, safety, and environment division and maintains their files.
- Ensures the legal requirements related to the safety of personnel and equipment, environmental regulations, and any other prevailing law affecting the company's process control are properly fulfilled.
- Assists the quality manager in the maintenance of the Laboratory Information Management System.
- Collects and maintains regularly the internal and external customer satisfaction forms.
- Assists in training employees on the implementation of the Laboratory Information Management System.
- Monitoring and assessing hazardous situations and developing measures to assure personnel and environmental safety.
4. Senior Material Laboratory Technicians
Job Description:
- Perform and oversee testing on the construction materials like the Soil, Asphalt, and concrete.
- Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment.
- Analyze test results, prepare detailed reports, and communicate findings to the supervisor.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards such as ASTM, ISO, and other regulatory requirements.
- Assist in research and development projects by testing new materials and providing technical insights.
- Maintain a safe and organized laboratory environment, following all safety protocols.
- Train and mentor Technicians and Assistant Technicians, ensuring adherence to quality control processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support a smooth workflow
- Hold a bachelor's degree with at least 6 years of experience in a material testing laboratory
