QA/QC (quality assurance/controls)
A senior software QC engineer ensures the quality and functionality of the software design and functionality and oversees the entire solution components and expected deliverables. They are responsible for designing, automating and executing tests, identifying and fixing bugs, and reporting on quality metrics.
Responsibilities:
Meeting with the software/product/solution designers to determine quality assurance parameters.
Designing QC test procedures.
Automating QC test procedures.
Overseeing the drafting of testing documents.
Implementing testing procedures and overseeing the QC process.
Troubleshooting quality issues and modifying test procedures.
Conducting analysis checks on solution design and functional specifications.
Creating, reviewing, and validating Quality Control reports.
Ensuring the successful deployment of products to Production environment.
Qualifications :
A bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
At least proven 6 years of full quality assurance/controls experience, IBM stack preferred.
Knowledge of various software products and tools, preferably IBM stack.
Knowledge of various testing tools and methodologies, such as automation, regression, performance, and usability testing.
High-level analytical, communication, problem-solving, and project management skills.
Knowledge of testing automation tools such as Selenium, Postman, TestComplete, and preferably UFT.
Bilingual is preferred (Arabic & English)
