1. Project Manager
Roles and Responsibilities
- Fully compliance and coverage of Framework 3.0
- Promote workplace safety & and assists in the development, maintenance, and management of EH&S programs at customer project site(s) by following proactive incident and illness prevention, Contractor safety management, Electrical Safety & LOTO (Lockout Tagout) process management.
- Lead by example for others and provide full and active commitment in the deployment of the GE EHS Policy and compliance to site EHS rules.
- Collaborates with projects and service team to achieve the yearly Grid Automation EHS KPIs by actively involving in pro-active EHS control measures like: Conducting EHS Audits; Develop EHS Plans, Procedures & Risk Assessments; Training employees on relevant EHS procedures; Investigating and analysis of Incidents & Accidents; Effective communication of Lessons Learnt & periodic updates.
- Ensure compliance with EHS-Risk Portfolio Program.
- Support the Inquiry-To-Order (ITO or Sales/Tendering) team in assessing the EHS risks & provide corresponding mitigation plan.
- Organize periodic EHS trainings like Induction training, Job specific EHS Trainings, safety stand-downs & EHS Campaigns
- Coordinate with Sourcing and Project team in onboarding the new Contractors.
- Support in Monthly EHS Reporting for the GULF Cluster.
- Ensure regulatory compliance for the sites, by ensuring any required permits, reporting and policies are in place and current.
- Follow up and support to close ATS findings, employee concerns, Gensuite compliance calendar tasks.
- Implement / modify related environmental programs and procedures to ensure compliance.
- Provide expert advice, guidance, and direct assistance to ensure site compliance with local, state, and federal environmental regulations, guidelines, and permit requirements.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma/GED)
- Minimum of 8 years EHS experience in project execution/construction environment
- Locally or internationally recognized professional EHS qualification, like NEBOSH ICC or ICG
- Expert knowledge of local EHS legislation
- Good knowledge of Microsoft office, web-based tools, smart sheet.
- Experience with and knowledge of independent standards organizations and certification programs such as ISO 14001, ISO 45001.
- Fluent English skills and Arabic (written and spoken)
- Flexibility to travel 50% to 60% of the time with a focus on Qatar, Kuwait and Iraq sites.
2. Substation Automation (DCS) Field Service Engineer
Roles and Responsibilities
- Responsible for the Field Services activity of the Substation Automation Systems including DCS/SCS, RTU and Cyber security.
- Understanding the project technical requirements, Customer Standards and specification and proposing the solution to customer as per the project scope.
- Take the complete ownership of technical activities for assigned projects (Site Survey, Engineering, Design, Follow Up and Support Panels Integration, Pre-FAT Internal Validation, FAT with customer, Supervise Site installations, Conduct Site Testing and commissioning, Site Red mark-up and As Built Drawings, system troubleshooting and rectification.
- Perform, coordinate and record Site testing for Signal testing, controls, measurement, interlocks, IEC61850 IED’s and SCADA signals.
- Perform, coordinate and record Site testing for DCS/SCS complex functionalities.
- Lead the design of the Substation LAN networks, configuration of industrial computers, ethernet switches, Firewall routers and satellite clocks according to project design.
- Knowledge of the schemes, application and SCS Database configuration of IEDs (BCUs, BCPU, RTU, IEC61850 Protection relays, AVR, Tariff meter etc.) in electrical networks including HV & EHV systems, and state-of-the-art technologies in substation automation
- Support Operations team to execute projects efficiently in terms of budgeted profitability, planning, and general reporting (internal / external).
- Demonstrate EHS compliance and ensure Zero Deviation Plan is implemented within the team and setting the example by demonstrating the proper acts and actively observes work conditions and behaviors, giving constructive feedback and celebrating EHS effective prevention.
- Effectively communicate directly with customers to ensure excellent customer service and to build and maintain customer intimacy.
- Works with application team to address any product issues and provide the solution to the customer.
- Raise Change request for any such requirements which are not as per the project specification.
- Project planning to ensure timely achievement of project milestones as per project schedule.

Requirements
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
- 6 years minimum relevant experience in substation automation system projects (IEC61850), RTU, Cyber security as well as site experience in DCS/SCS systems of electrical power substations.
- Experienced in GE DS Agile, PACiS, GPG, G500 and D2xx RTUs solutions.
- Practical experience in DCS/SCS Engineering, product selections, System architecture, System Database Creation and Configuration, System Validation, FAT, site installations supervision, Site testing and commissioning, as well as system troubleshooting and rectification.
- Knowledge of Sequencing & interlocking principles used in substation automation systems and their implementation on IEC61850 IED’s.
- Good knowledge of communication protocols such as IEC 61850, MODBUS, IEC101/104, T103 & SNTP and communication network PRP/HSR/RSTP.
- knowledge of Cyber security solutions implementation in the field of Substation Automation.
- Experience with Utilities and Industrial customer across Middle east, preferably with Kahramaa, Qatar Energy, Q-Companies approvals shall add advantage.
- Excellent in MS-Office package (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook).
- Ability and willingness to travel across the region (25%) without limitation

Roles and Responsibilities
- Responsible for the Testing & Commissioning of Protection IED’s, AVR, Tariff meter inclusive of Busbar Protection associated projects.
- Responsible for the resource planning of Field Service commissioning team for active projects.
- Manage the workload of the projects to ensure 90% and above billable ratio.
- Collaborate with other members of a multidisciplinary team for daily work deliverables.
- Understanding the project technical requirement Customer Standards and specification and proposing the solution to customer as per the project scope.
- Support Operations team to execute projects efficiently in terms of budgeted profitability, planning, and general reporting (internal / external).
- Ensure that agreements with customer for documentation lead times, delivery, reliability and quality are achieved within the budgetary constraints agreed.

- Support for Production documents (Wiring Table/Label list/Cable Schedule/Interpanel wiring files), CT/VT Adequacy check, Relay setting calculations.
- Having experience for Busbar protection configuration/engineering and site testing.
- Experienced in protection relays software (Micom, Multilin & 3rd Party), Test kits (Omicron), and Microsoft office.
- Effectively communicate directly with customers to ensure excellent customer service and to build and maintain customer intimacy.
- Works with application team to address any product issues and provide the solution to the customer.
- Revise drawings & provide technical clarifications against comments and replying to customer/Consultant comments.

Requirements

- 12 years minimum relevant experience preferably in Protection IED’s Configuration & Testing.
- Knowledge of GE (Micom & Multlin) Protection IED’s and Competitors Products
- Knowledge of schemes and application of protection relays in electrical networks including HV & EHV systems, and state-of-the-art technologies in substation automation
