Senior Network Architect
Lead the architectural design of network solutions for sports venues, focusing on scalability and performance for international sport events and non-event periods. Provide guidance to a team of network architects.
Responsibilities:
Network Architecture Design
• Design scalable, secure, and high-performance network solutions aligned with organizational goals.
• Define and document the network architecture, including LAN, WAN, WI-FI, Data centre networks.
• Perform capacity planning, redundancy planning and forecast future network requirements.
• Documentation, coordination, and optimization to maintain clear records, collaborate with teams, and improve network performance.
• Proficient with Business case, RFP, RFQ, HLD , LLD, PID , Concept, Design and implementation
Technical Leadership
• Lead the network team in project planning, execution, and delivery.
• Provide strategic guidance and mentorship to network engineers and Technicians.
• Drive the development and implementation of Best practices.
Solution Evaluation and Implementation
• Evaluate and assess network solutions and implement new networking technologies and tools.
•Ensure the implementation adheres to best practices, standards, and compliance requirements.
• Oversee the project implementation and deployment for operation and event solutions.
• Collaborate with Vendors, OEMs for the POC
Budgeting and Cost Management
• Manage network budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness while meeting business requirements.
• Negotiate with vendors and manage procurement for networking equipment and services.
• Monitor and track expenses throughout the project lifecycle
• Analyze cost performance post-project implementation
Required Skillset:
• Network Design & Architecture: Expertise in LAN, WAN, and cloud infrastructure design and optimization.
• Performance Optimization: Skills in network performance analysis and enhancement.
• Project and team management: Experience leading large-scale network projects and managing risks.
• Vendor & Stakeholder Management: Proficiency in RFP/RFQ management and vendor relations.
• Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery: Knowledge of continuity planning and high-availability design.
• Budgeting & Financial Management: Experience in budgeting and cost optimization for infrastructure projects.
• Governance & Compliance: Strong understanding of governance frameworks and industry standards.
• Strong understanding of routing, switching and Wi-Fi technology and product lines
