Senior Threat Hunting Specialist
We are seeking an experienced Senior Threat Hunting Specialist to be embedded on-site with one of our key clients. You will act as a trusted advisor, supporting day-to-day security operations, proactively identifying advanced threats, and enhancing the client’s detection and response capabilities. This is a hands-on, strategic role ideal for someone with a strong background in threat detection, malware analysis, and adversary behavior profiling.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct proactive threat hunts using a combination of threat intelligence, behavioral analytics, and detection tools.
Analyze large data sets (e.g., endpoint, network, log sources) to identify patterns, anomalies, and potential threats.
Develop, tune, and maintain detection rules and threat hunting queries across SIEM and EDR/XDR platforms.
Provide guidance on improving detection engineering, threat intelligence application, and incident readiness.
Work closely with SOC teams, Incident Response, and Security Architecture to improve overall cyber defense posture.
Collaborate with the client’s blue team to build and mature threat-hunting playbooks and processes.
Deliver regular threat hunting reports, trend analysis, and recommendations to key stakeholders.
Act as the technical liaison between the client and our internal security team for escalations, updates, and innovation sharing.
