1. Registered General Nurse (Derma Nurse)
Job Description:
- To assist the Dermatologist in a smooth execution of all dermatology services.
- Interact with patients with the utmost professionalism and courtesy.
- Provide ongoing support to providers performing a variety of medical and cosmetic treatments.
- Accurately prep trays for procedures and ensure the procedure room is appropriately stocked.
- Ensure all required medications are obtained prior to treatment and accurately fill medication syringes as required.
- Address all patient inquiries and/or concerns prior to the procedure and ensure patients are comfortable at all times.
- Obtain all required documents and/or consent forms prior to treatment and accurately record and file within patient charts.
- Actively assist providers during treatments and serve as a support system for patients as required.
- Ensure all patients leave with appropriate aftercare instructions and follow-up appointments as required.
- Sanitize treatment rooms after procedures and ensure tools and instruments are sterilized per safety guidelines and regulations.
- Accurately document patient notes and discharge information with patient charts.
- Communicate with pharmacy staff to coordinate the disbursement of take-home medication.
- Perform other duties as required.
2. Dental Assistant
Job Description:
- Support dentists during patient procedures by preparing instruments, sterilizing equipment, and assisting with various dental treatments.
- Take and process X-rays, manage patient records, provide patient education, and ensure the dental office runs smoothly.
